Dutch photographer Hans van der Meer, 1955, has been a professional photographer since the 1970's. In 1995 he started taking pictures of low division amateur football games. This resulted in books as Keepers and Dutch Fields. After covering the Dutch football fields, he moved on to the rest of Europe. These images were released in the book European Fields which came out in several languages. It has become a large archive of landscape photographs.

Lu Guang, China, 1961, started with photography at the age of 20 when he was still working in a silk factory. In 1993 he attended the Tsinghua University in Beijing. In 2003 he won first prize at World Press Photo for his story on HIV. He has covered stories on Golddiggers, the SARS epedemic, the Qinghai-Tibet railway and many more. In 2009 he won the W. Eugene Smith grant for his series on pollution in China. The following images are all from Pollution in China.
David Field, USA, 1983, is a young fashion photographer who often digitally manipulates his photographs to get the result he is looking for. His roots lie in illustration where "concept and composition are essential." He has worked for various clients such as Footlocker and Pioneer and has been featured in Eyemazing magazine. Cole Thompson, USA, 1954, is a photographer who, since 2004, only shoots digitally. He collects various images to become one coherent portfolio. Examples are a series of photographs called Harbinger in which every picture consists of one single cloud in the sky. Another example is the project Ceiling Lamps. Cole photographed a large number of ceiling lamps from beneath, images of strange and abstract forms. The following photographs come from the series Ceiling Lamps, Harbinger and The Lone Man.
David Stewart, Great-Britain, 1958, is a photographer that uses a lot of humour in his photographs, this is also visible in the playfull design of his website. In 2009 his latest book Thrice Removed was published. It is a collection of images that work like an observation on relationships and life in general. On his website one can find the category Stuff. Stephan Vanfleteren, Belgium, 1969, is a black and white photographer. He is well known for his portraits of musicians and other creative people, but also for his stories from around the globe, ranging from his region of origin Flandrien to various conflict zones as Afghanistan and Kosovo. His portfolio contains a large body of work showing a very distinct signature of Stephan. Photographer Michal Chelbin, Israel, 1974, just released her second monograph called The Black Eye. In 2008 she released the book Strangely Familiar, human stories somewhere between the odd and the ordinary. It is a series of portraits of often small-town performers, kids and dwarfs.
